Clover
Kazuhiko, a retired soldier from a high-tech city government, gets pulled back into action when his old superior General Ko calls him in. Ko marks his hand with a leaf-shaped code and gives him a cryptic assignment: deliver a mysterious package. That package turns out to be a girl named Suu—pale-skinned, white-haired, with striking green eyes—who he finds singing in what looks like a cage inside a building. All she'll tell him is that she needs to get to Fairy Park. With help from his friends Lan and Gingetsu, Kazuhiko arranges transportation for the two of them. But something feels off about Suu. The journey doesn't go smoothly—their transport gets intercepted, and they're hunted down by someone named Bols, a face from Kazuhiko's past who's apparently been sent after Suu too. The more Kazuhiko learns, the murkier things get. Suu's true nature, why this mission is so secretive, whether there's a personal connection between him and the girl—it all seems to come back to one thing: something called clover.
