Synopsis

In an alternate 2023, the Your Forma—a miraculous "smart thread" technology born from research into a massive viral encephalitis outbreak—has woven itself into everyday life. The catch? They record everything: sights, sounds, and even emotions. Echika Hieda is an electronic investigator who makes her living diving into people's memories through the Your Forma to hunt down evidence and solve crimes. She's brilliant at it, but there's a problem—her assistants keep ending up hospitalized trying to keep pace with her. After one too many colleagues get their brains fried, her superiors finally pair her with someone who can actually keep up: Harold Lucraft, a sharp-tongued android just as talented as she is. Now Echika and Harold have to figure out how to work together, get past their mutual distrust, and stop a deadly technological infection from spreading across the globe before it's too late.
