Synopsis

Fourteen-year-old Tasuke lives a pretty lonely life. His family travels constantly around the world, leaving him home alone and only occasionally sending letters and postcards to stay in touch. Everything changes when his father sends him a magical ring called the Shitenrin from China. Out of it emerges Shao Lin, a Guardian Angel named Getten, who declares herself Tasuke's protector and promises to stay by his side forever. The problem? Shao's been trapped in that ring for centuries. She has no idea how the modern world works, and honestly, she causes about as many problems as she solves. Tasuke's got his hands full trying to figure out how to live with this beautiful, innocent, and completely clueless magical angel.
