Synopsis

Kiyomaro Takamine is a genius middle schooler who one day meets Gash Bell, a mysterious kid who literally falls into his life. His dad asks him to help figure out Gash's strange red book, and that's when things get weird—Gash can shoot lightning from his mouth. Turns out he's a demon, and he's caught up in a thousand-year war where demons battle it out to become the next Demon King. Since Kiyomaro's the only one who can read Gash's book, he's suddenly roped into being his partner. What follows is a wild ride about friendship, pushing through tough situations, and apparently. melons? The story's got heart, action, and just enough weirdness to keep things interesting.
