Synopsis

Yamato Keisuke is a talented freestyle swimmer, while Ninomiya Ami is an equally skilled diver—and their families are bitter business rivals. The feud started generations back when both grandfathers created nearly identical owl-shaped cakes. The catch? Yamato's owl had ears, giving it an edge over Ninomiya's version. Since they cost the same, those extra ears made all the difference in sales, and Ninomiya's confectionery business tanked as a result. The stress wore on Grandfather Ninomiya so badly that he fell ill, and his deathbed words—"I was killed by the Yamatos"—cemented the families' hatred of each other. They've been sworn enemies ever since.
