Synopsis

Fushimi Inari's got it bad for her classmate Tanbabashi, but things go sideways when she accidentally humiliates him in front of everyone. He won't hear her apologies, and to top it off, she finds out he probably likes their adorable classmate Sumizome instead. Then Uka-no-Mitama-no-Kami, a pale fox goddess, shows up and offers Inari a deal. After Inari saved a little fox-spirit that morning, the goddess agrees to grant her one wish. Without thinking it through, Inari blurts out that she wants to be Sumizome. Predictably, it's a disaster. Feeling bad for her, the goddess bends the rules and gives Inari the ability to shapeshift instead of leaving her stuck. Now Inari can change her appearance whenever she wants—and the temptation to use it to win Tanbabashi over is constant. But there's a catch: if she's not careful, both she and the goddess could end up in hot water with Amaterasu.
