Hideyuki Kurata

Kurata is a Japanese screenwriter, light novelist, and manga artist best known for his work in anime series composition. His resume includes some genuinely memorable shows—Read or Die, Now and Then, Here and There, Kamichu!, and Gun Sword stand out as his earlier defining projects. Since joining Yōsuke Kuroda's creative group Studio Orphee in 2003, he's become a regular collaborator on Kuroda's work, having written for Hellsing Ultimate, Drifters, and Goblin Slayer alongside him.
