Otsuichi is a Japanese writer from Fukuoka who made his mark early—he won the Sixth Jump Short Fiction/Nonfiction Prize at just seventeen with his debut story, Summer, Fireworks, and My Corpse. Since then, he's become one of Japan's most acclaimed young voices in fantasy and horror.
