Nan Pai San Shu (real name Xu Lei) is a Chinese web novelist best known for creating the massively popular Daomu Biji (Grave Robbers' Chronicles) series. He's based in Hangzhou after growing up in Jiashan, Zhejiang Province.
By day, he works as an employee at a foreign trade company. Beyond writing, he founded and edits the magazine "Super Good-looking." Despite the tomb-robbing focus of his work, Nan Pai San Shu has clarified that he's never actually looted a tomb or collected grave goods—though he grew up surrounded by stories about tomb robbing, with most of his family and friends working in the antique trade.
