Shintarou Sakamoto is best known as the frontman of Yura Yura Teikoku, the cult Japanese psychedelic rock band he helped found. When the group disbanded in 2010, he didn't slow down—instead pivoting to solo work and self-producing his music. He's released four solo albums since then and continues making music independently.
