Sanae Yamamura
Birthplace: Aichi Prefecture, Japan
Sanae Yamamura studied oil painting at Tokyo University of the Arts, finishing her degree in 1989 before completing her studies at their School of Fine Arts two years later. She's best known for her work as an assistant animator on her husband Koji Yamamura's films—he's a pretty acclaimed animator himself. Beyond that, she creates her own artwork that's shown across Japan, and she co-produces at their studio, Au Praxinoscope.
