Loundraw made his name as an illustrator while still in his teens, posting work online and building a following fast. He's best known for his eye for spatial design—those transparent, airy palettes and careful use of depth really stand out in his pieces. Early on, he created key visuals for various writers, including the cover art for I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, which later got adapted into a film.
Beyond illustration, he's ventured into animation. His debut original work, Until Dreams Awaken, dropped on YouTube as a collab with BUMP OF CHICKEN (the rock band, who were already huge) and racked up over two million views pretty quickly. He also served as concept designer on the recent anime adaptation of Josee, the Tiger and the Fish.
