Laara Sadiq is a Canadian actress of Pakistani descent known for her work across sci-fi television and film. She's appeared in shows like Battlestar Galactica, Kyle XY, Dark Angel, and The Outer Limits, and played Technician Laura Davis in Stargate SG-1.

Her theater work has earned her significant recognition. She won a Jessie Award in 2004 for her role as Chandni in The Matka King at Arts Club Theatre, then took home two major awards in 2010—a Leo Award for Best Lead Performance by a Female in a Feature Length Drama for the film Excited, and a Jessie Award for her lead role as Nehrjas Al-Saffarh in Palace of the End (which played in multiple Touchstone Theatre productions). In 2017, she earned another Jessie Award for her supporting performance as Jamuna in Brothel #9 at Touchstone Theatre. She was also recognized early in her career with the Sam Payne Award for Most Promising Newcomer in 1994.
