Alison Brie Schermerhorn is an American actress born December 29, 1982 in Hollywood.
She's best known for a handful of standout roles across TV. Mad Men made her a household name—she played Trudy Campbell across the show's entire run from 2007 to 2015 and even snagged a Screen Actors Guild Award for it. Around the same time, she was pulling double duty on NBC's Community as Annie Edison (2009–2015), which became a cult favorite and really cemented her comedic chops.
Beyond live-action work, she's the voice of Diane Nguyen in the beloved animated series BoJack Horseman, which ran for six seasons from 2014 to 2020. But it's probably her role as Ruth Wilder in Netflix's GLOW (2017–2019) that showed critics just how much range she has—she walked away with two Golden Globe nominations and two Critics' Choice nominations for that one.
