Wil was born in Burbank, California. He's probably best known for playing Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation, though his voice work has been equally memorable—he voiced Martin Brisby in The Secret of NIMH early in his career, and later lent his voice to Family Guy and Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy.
