Tetsuo Yajima is a Japanese animation director. After graduating from Tokyo Designer Academy, he joined the animation production company Vega Entertainment as an animator. He originally wanted to be a director, and after about a year at the company, he switched to directing. He was in charge of directing episodes of Doraemon and other Madhouse productions, for which Vega Entertainment was a contractor.
