Naoki Satou is a Japanese composer and producer best known for scoring some genuinely beloved anime series. He studied at Tokyo College of Music after his education in Chiba Prefecture.

His biggest mainstream recognition came at the 29th Japanese Academy Awards in 2006, when he took home Best Music for Always: Sunset on Third Street—a nice validation of his film work alongside his anime catalog.
