MOSAIC.WAV basically created the whole "Akiba-Pop" thing—they're the band that made that term stick. These guys got their start in Akihabara doing soundtrack work for adult games, but they pivoted to performing as an actual band around 2004. Their name's pretty on-the-nose if you know what you're looking at: "mosaic" refers to that pixelated censorship you see in Japanese adult content, and ".wav" is just the audio file format. It's the kind of joke that captures their whole vibe.
