Yukie Nakauchi is an animator best known for her drawn animation work that leans heavily on music and geometric character design. She studied graphic design at Tama Art University before moving into animation, and she's currently pursuing graduate work in animation at Tokyo University of the Arts's Film and New Media program.
Her film "Celebration and Chorale" caught attention at the 2013 Ottawa International Animation Festival and picked up the Silver award at the 18th Campus Genius Award. She's also collaborated with Mirai Mizue on the music video for Shugo Tokumaru's "Poker."
