Toshio Nishiuchi is a professional animator and illustrator. He attended the Toei animator training course in 1977 while working various part-time jobs. In 1979, he attended Asagaya College of Art and graduated in 1982. He is well known for his contributions to NHK's Minna no Uta and Okaasan to Issho programs and Fuji TV's Hirake! Ponkikki. He has also illustrated many children's picture books and childcare products.
