Born in New York, he graduated from "Pratt Institute" in Brooklyn. He then worked as a freelance animator for American studios before moving to Japan to work at Studio Pierrot, and most recently D'Art Shtajio.
He's one of the only American animators to have the opportunity to work for a Japanese animation studio.
