Tekken's early dream was to become a professional wrestler. He joined FMW (Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling) as a young man, but his smaller frame meant he ended up working as a referee instead. That didn't last long—he eventually left wrestling behind and moved into comedy through Yoshimoto, a major Japanese talent management company.
What he's really known for, though, is animation and visual art. His signature sketchbook style has made him a go-to director for music videos and commercials, and he's built a solid reputation in that space. Beyond animation, he's released books and maintains an active career as a comedian, so he's basically juggling multiple creative disciplines at once.
