Oonogi Hiroshi is a screenwriter and novelist best known for his work in anime. He graduated from the Department of Literature at Keio University, where he happened to study alongside Mikimoto Haruhiko and Kawamori Shouji—the character designer and creator behind Macross, respectively. This connection led directly to his first major break: he collaborated with both on The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, which launched his career as a screenwriter.
