Ceui is a Japanese singer-songwriter whose name comes from the Portuguese word for sky, "céu." Originally from Chiba, she actually grew up in Fukuoka. She's been singing since 2000, but didn't break through until 2007 when she landed the ending theme for the anime Shattered Angels—that was her major debut. Since then, she's built a solid career doing music for anime and visual novels.
