Peach-Pit is a manga artist duo consisting of Banri Sendou and Shibuko Ebara. They named their group after the diner from Beverly Hills 90210, and while their art styles overlap quite a bit, fans can usually tell who drew what depending on the piece. Both are known for their bishōjo work.
The two grew up together—same elementary school, lifelong best friends. They started out making doujinshi before getting scouted by Dengeki Comic Gao! and eventually forming Peach-Pit as we know them. According to their own books, they're both Geminis and have apparently come dangerously close to flushing their phones down the toilet. Twice.
Their biggest claim to fame is probably Shugo Chara!, which won the Kodansha Manga Award for best children's manga in 2008 and later got adapted into an anime series.
