Kogawa Tomonori is an animator and character designer born January 3, 1950 in Hokkaido, Japan. He's best known for his work throughout the 1980s at Nippon Sunrise, the studio now called Sunrise. Over the years he's credited himself under so many different names that fans sometimes lose track—including 花畑まう、小国一和、亥間我子、重塚我子、TOIIIO、枯葉紅葉、and 音間聞, plus several others like 森林栖樹、園田美世、為家尽人、丹重谷鉄人, and variants of TOIIIO.
