Jodeci is an American R&B group that came together in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1989, bringing together two brother duos—K-Ci and JoJo, alongside DeVanté Swing and Mr. Dalvin. The four had been working separately with limited traction before deciding to combine forces.

Things really took off after they signed to Uptown Records in 1991. Their debut album Forever My Lady broke them into the mainstream, driven by the hit single "Come and Talk to Me" and the album's title track, both of which charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

The group's song "Freek'n You" later found a second life as the opening theme for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.
