Anime "Katte ni" Ouen Project
AOP (A応P) was an idol group that existed to promote anime—basically, they talked up shows and explained why fans should care about them across TV, radio, magazines, and live events. Produced by Nikkei Entertainment!, they first popped up at Tokyo Game Show 2012 before dropping their debut single "Never Say Never/Ari no Mama MY WAY" in April 2013. The group wrapped up in March 2021.
The lineup shifted over the years. By the end, the active roster consisted of Yuuki Hirose and Aoi Mizuki, alongside a group that had graduated from the earlier AOP ZERO phase: Yuuna Asahi, Hinaki Kudou, Rin Kojima, Yukina Tsutsumi, Non Harusaki, and Seena Hoshiki.
A bunch of other members cycled through at various points, including Marina Amane, Yuriko Hizaki, Misae Komori, Saori Ogino, Risa Sakurana, Saki Shimizukawa, Yui Fukuo, and Kei Tomoe.
