An enka singer since February 2000, he's best known to anime fans for his Dragon Ball Super opening theme, which dropped in October 2017. That track marked his entry into the anisong world.
He took a break at the end of 2022 but came back in April 2024.
One of his more interesting collaborations is "Party of Monsters," an ending theme for the Gegege no Kitarou broadcast selection series. He worked with producer Tetsuya Komuro on that one—it's called "Watashi no Aishita Rekidai Gegege" officially.
