UNISON SQUARE GARDEN is a three-piece Japanese rock band that's been around since April 2004. They started out doing electropop but gradually shifted toward a heavier rock sound over the years. Before landing their major label deal with Toy's Factory, they released music independently through UK PROJECT. Their official major debut came on July 23, 2008, when Toy's Factory re-released their demo single "Sentimental Period."
