Tete (real name Ishida Hiroyasu) is an animator and Kyoto Seika University student known for posting original animated shorts online. He's best known for "Fumiko no Kokuhaku" (Fumiko's Confession), a two-and-a-half-minute short that went viral internationally in 2009 when he was just 21. The video won him the Japanese YouTube Video Award and caught the attention of major figures in the industry—notably director Hosoda Mamoru, who praised his work. His pieces have also been featured in Newtype magazine.

Tete primarily uploads his animations directly to streaming platforms rather than pursuing traditional studio routes. He's openly aspired to become a professional animator, and his early internet success suggests he's well on his way.
