Pen Name: 藤子・F・不二雄

Hiroshi Fujimoto is best known as one half of the legendary manga duo Fujiko Fujio. For years, he and his creative partner Motoo Abiko collaborated under that shared name, producing some of manga's most iconic works—most notably Doraemon, the sci-fi comedy that became a massive cultural phenomenon.
The partnership ended in 1987, and the two went their separate ways professionally. Fujimoto rebranded himself as "Fujiko F. Fujio" (sometimes written as "Fujiko Fujio (F)"), while Abiko took the designation "Fujiko Fujio (A)." Fujimoto continued his solo career under this new identity until his death in 1996.
