Ayaka Oohira is a Tokyo-based animator and video director who's known for blending live action with cel animation, often layering in a nostalgic Showa-era aesthetic that gives her work a distinctly retro feel. She moved from Fukuoka to Tokyo in her early twenties and has since produced music videos and moving images for major Japanese artists.
