Jun Murayama grew up in Tarumizu City, Kagoshima Prefecture, starting piano at age 3 before picking up band instruments around 13. He studied philosophy at Gakushuin University while launching his professional music career early on.
These days he works as a producer, composer, and arranger across multiple projects, handling everything from live support to lyrics and arrangements. He's been through various bands over the years—STRUTTING ☆ JENNEY in the late '90s and early 2000s, then Venomstrip from 2007 onward.
He's probably best known for his time as keyboard player in FLOWER FLOWER, which he joined in 2013 through Sony Music before leaving in 2020. Since then he's been focusing on his solo project VillegeMountain, which started in 2021.
