Azuru Isshiki is a Tokyo-based animator who spent five years at Toei Animation before striking out on her own. She's best known for her work on NHK productions, including contributions to the long-running Minna no Uta program, and was part of the 35-animator team behind Kihachiro Kawamoto's acclaimed anthology film Fuyu no Hi.
