Q-rais (Yuusuke Sakamoto) has been animating since high school and went on to study the craft at Tokyo Zokei University. After graduating, he worked as a planning director at Tohokushinsha Film Corporation before going fully freelance in 2017, when he pivoted to animation, cartooning, and illustration work.
He's best known for winning the grand prize at the 19th DigiCon6 ASIA with his short film Kamo ga Suki ("I Like Ducks"). Beyond animation, he's also an established 4-koma mangaka with a solid following online.
