Sugiura started her career young, signing with Jobby Kids at age 6, though that stint only lasted a year. She caught attention as a finalist in the model section at KiraChalle 2014 when she was 7. A few years later, she enrolled at Avex Artist Academy at 9 and got serious about modeling through their lessons. She competed in KiraChalle again in 2017 before wrapping up her time at Avex after three years.

In 2019, she moved to EXPG Tokyo, which is where things really picked up. She debuted with Lovely2 and graduated from the academy in 2020. That same year, she landed a main character role as Sora Nanairo in the project Lovepatrina, and became a member of Lovely2, the idol unit tied to the series. The group was active for about a year before moving on.

She's currently a member of the idol group Lucky2.
