LOONA is a twelve-member South Korean girl group under BlockBerry Creative, best known for their elaborate pre-debut project and intricate lore. The group's Korean name translates to "Girl of the Month," which became the core concept—each member got their own solo single-album rollout over roughly two years before the group officially debuted in 2018 with "Hi High."
