Suda Yumiko was born 1953 in Japan. She is an animator and director currently belonging to Ajia-dou.
She started her career at Tokyo Movie, belonged then to Production A and its successor Shin-Ei Douga before transferring to Ajia-dou, where she took charge as director of her greatest and most well known work so far, the hit TV series Chibi Maruko-chan. In addition to the series she did also direct the feature films.
