Kawashima Ai

Kawashima Ai is a singer and pianist from Fukuoka who's been making music since her 2003 debut. She's best known for her street performances and has released several albums over the years.

Beyond music, she's heavily involved in charity work—specifically building schools in Cambodia and Burkina Faso, with another project underway in Liberia. More initiatives are in the pipeline. Her charitable efforts are a pretty big part of what she does.

Her songs have also popped up as theme music for anime and video games, which has helped expand her reach beyond her core fanbase.
