Isaac Charles Singleton Jr. was born in Melbourne, Florida. He spent his teenage years in Germany starting at age 13 before heading back to Florida to pursue acting. He studied at Florida A&M University during the 1980s.
Singleton's film work spans stunts and supporting roles—he was a stuntman on Rosewood (1997) and showed up in a string of big-budget action and adventure films including Charlie's Angels, Galaxy Quest, Planet of the Apes, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. He's probably best known to gaming and anime fans, though. He voiced the villain Lurtz in the Lord of the Rings video games, provided the voice of Incognito in the anime series Hellsing, and has been the voice of Sagat in both Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter X Tekken.
