Synopsis

No matter how much time Nishikata spends around Takagi, he can't seem to crack her teasing strategy. He's tried everything—outwitting her, challenging her physically, testing her nerve—but it never works. If anything, his failed attempts just expose his own weaknesses, which Takagi gleefully exploits to tease him even harder. On top of that, their constant back-and-forth has gotten people talking, and rumors about the two of them are starting to spread around class. But Nishikata's optimistic. He figures that if he keeps at it, he'll eventually learn enough from all these interactions to finally get the upper hand. That's his goal: to outsmart Takagi and actually make her embarrassed for once. So he keeps trying, no matter how hopeless it seems.
