Doraemon
Doraemon (1979)
Nobita Nobi is just your average fourth grader—until a blue robot cat suddenly pops out of his desk drawer. Introducing himself as Doraemon, the robot explains that he's been sent back from the 22nd century by Nobita's own descendants, who are broke and miserable because of all the screw-ups Nobita's about to make. So Doraemon's job is to guide him and help fix his future. There's one problem: Nobita turns out to be the laziest and weakest kid in his entire school. Good thing Doraemon's got a four-dimensional pocket stuffed with futuristic gadgets and machines to help out. Bad news is, they usually just make things worse. So the real question is whether this robot can actually straighten Nobita out, or if the kid's just hopeless.
