In 2100, the world's gotten obsessed with super high-speed railways. The World Railway Conference rolled out something called the Laser Rail—basically trains that aren't stuck to the ground anymore. To keep these things running, they built the Train Base. It's where trains from all over the world get outfitted with AI systems and robot bodies, turning them into what they call Train Heroes. These Train Heroes spend most of their time training hard at the base, but they also get dispatched whenever there's a disaster that needs handling—rescue and relief operations, that sort of thing.
