Kumi is a young girl living in a futuristic world dominated by gleaming metal skyscrapers and robots that keep everything running. Her favorite spot is a park garden nestled beside one of these towering buildings—a place filled with man-made fountains, synthetic plants, and even digital butterflies. One day she meets an elderly man who comes to the park regularly to paint the artificial flowers. He tells her about discovering an actual, living tulip growing among all the fake ones. The two decide to care for it together and watch it bloom. This was a Tezuka Productions project that debuted as part of Anime Mirai 2015.
