Synopsis

Centuries ago, a winged princess named Kanna was locked away in a castle because the world feared what she was. She was the last of her kind. When a soldier named Ryuuya fell in love with her, he promised to help her escape and find her mother. But his plan failed—Kanna was sealed into the sky by magic and cursed to suffer forever. Fast forward hundreds of years. Ryuuya's descendant, Yukito, drifts into a quiet town a week before its annual festival, hoping to scrape together some cash. That's when he meets Misuzu, a strange girl who immediately triggers a memory: his mother once told him that if he ever encountered the reincarnation of the winged girl, he'd have the power to free her. As Yukito and Misuzu grow closer and develop genuine feelings for each other, the weight of that old promise bears down on him. He has to choose: leave town and move on with his life, or try to break a curse that's been torturing Kanna for hundreds of years.
