Synopsis

Pokémon are incredible creatures—they come in all types and sizes, each with their own unique abilities and personalities. Professor Ookido has spent his life studying them, and he knows there's only so much he can learn from a lab. So he sends out two young trainers with their own Pokémon and a Pokédex to catalog them all. One is Green, the Professor's hot-headed nephew with a competitive streak. The other is Red, equally determined but wide-eyed and genuinely curious about the world. Pokémon: The Origin follows Red as he travels through Kanto, trying to complete his Pokédex by catching and cataloging every Pokémon he can find. It's more than just a collection quest though—the journey forces him to grow and discover what he's really capable of. To become a true Pokémon Master, Red has to earn badges from Gym Leaders, face off against the Elite Four, and ultimately claim the title of Champion. But Red's got bigger problems than just ambitious goals. Team Rocket, a dangerous criminal organization, is out there catching Pokémon for their own dark purposes. Red will have to battle through wild Pokémon, rival trainers, Green himself, and Team Rocket's schemes across Kanto if he wants to achieve his dream—and help Professor Ookido complete his life's work in the process.
