Synopsis

Legend of the Galactic Heroes For over 150 years, the Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance have waged an endless war against each other. Within the Empire, a young man named Siegfried Kircheis befriends Reinhard von Müsel and his sister Annerose—two beautiful blonde siblings from a minor noble family. The three are close until Reinhard's alcoholic father, desperate for status and money, agrees to give Annerose to the Kaiser as a concubine. Reinhard wants to fight back but can't go against the Imperial Court. He and his father leave, separating him from Kircheis. Years pass. Reinhard returns as a military officer with a single goal: climb the ranks, gain power, and rescue his sister from forced servitude. Kircheis, still devoted to his childhood friends, enlists to help. The two set out on an ambitious quest to free Annerose, with Kircheis determined never to leave Reinhard's side again.
