Synopsis

After her parents die, Heidi ends up living with her grandfather in the Swiss Alps. He's not happy about it—he's a pretty bitter guy and only took her in because he had to. But Heidi's genuinely kind nature starts to wear down his hard exterior. She gets caught up in adventures with Peter, the local shepherd, and Clara, a girl who can't walk. Between the three of them, there's plenty of excitement to go around.
