Synopsis

Kino and Hermes finally reach their destination after a long journey—a strikingly beautiful and clean country dotted with skyscrapers. But something's off about the place. The countryside looks like farmland, except it's completely abandoned, filled with crumbling buildings and no signs of life anywhere. The real city, though, is hidden inside a mountain under an artificial sky created by advanced technology. It's incredibly developed and obsessed with health and hygiene, with everything designed to make its citizens as healthy as possible. Despite how pristine everything looks, Kino feels deeply uneasy. There's a weird smell in the air, no birds in the sky, and something about it all feels wrong. As someone who's traveled far and wide, Kino knows better than to trust appearances—and this place definitely isn't what it seems on the surface.
